Celebrating 100 Years of Women's Voices
“Celebrating 100 Years of Women’s Voices” is my proudest design work. I single-handedly designed and produced this published book, for two lecturers at the University of Reading. The book is an account of a 2018 event of the same name, which took place at the university.
The event included a play, a symposium, and an art exhibit, all about influential and powerful women in the journey towards the improvement of women’s rights. Thus I adapted my design to reflect this by utilising only typefaces created by women. I also designed and created the artwork for the book's front and back covers, depicting woman throughout each decade leading up to modern day, passing along a microphone to project each others' voices.
